Roles & Responsibilities

Provide medical social services to patients and their families
Assist in solving or ameliorating physical, social, emotional, and environmental problems
Work independently and in collaboration with other social workers
Perform supervisory tasks when supervisor is away

Qualifications

MSW (Master of Social Work) from an accredited school of Social Work
One year experience in hospital or healthcare setting
State of Alaska license at Master's level (LMSW) required or eligibility
Valid Alaska State driver's license
Basic knowledge of computer use
