Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to geriatric residents
Assist with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, and toileting while preserving dignity
Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
Follow individual care plans and accurately document care and observations
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Build meaningful connections with residents and support their emotional needs

Qualifications

Current GNA certification or state equivalent required
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working night shifts and flexible per diem schedule
Compassionate, patient, and strong communicator with a team-first attitude
Able to perform physical duties associated with resident care, including lifting and transferring

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
GNA certification or state-required training

Knowledge & Skills

Working knowledge of geriatric care principles and resident-centered practices
Familiarity with infection control, safety protocols, and HIPAA basics
Basic charting and documentation skills
Skills in safe resident handling, fall prevention, and mobility assistance
Good observational skills and the ability to notice subtle changes in resident condition
