Roles & Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies across MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography and nuclear medicine with accuracy and clinical context
• Perform and supervise fluoroscopy procedures including swallow studies, esophagrams, barium enemas, myelograms, arthrograms and breast biopsies
• Provide timely after-hours and weekend reads and on-call consultation to support patient care
• Collaborate closely with technologists, referring clinicians and the care team to optimize imaging protocols and patient outcomes
• Maintain thorough case logs and documentation consistent with facility credentialing requirements
• Participate in quality assurance activities, peer review, and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Demonstrated proficiency in fluoroscopy procedures and interventional imaging procedures listed in the role
• Experience reading MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography and nuclear medicine studies
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems for reporting and communication
• Active medical license in good standing or ability to obtain North Dakota licensure in a timely manner
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Education

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• Completion of diagnostic radiology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Advanced interpretation skills across cross-sectional and mammography imaging
• Hands-on procedural skills for fluoroscopy and image-guided biopsies
• Proficiency with EPIC for reporting, result communication and chart review
• Case log management and documentation best practices
• Ability to triage urgent studies and provide clear consultative recommendations
