Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic radiographic examinations of all body parts with accuracy and compassion
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment, including automatic injectors and age-appropriate protocol adjustments
• Follow radiation protection principles to keep patients and staff safe
• Assist with interventional procedures and sterile technique when needed
• Perform venipuncture and contrast administration per protocols
• Maintain patient records, run routine and daily/weekly QC, and support the department’s quality assurance program
• Transfer and position patients safely and provide age-appropriate patient care across the lifespan
• Rotate through shifts and modalities as required and step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of supervision
• Support supply inventory, ordering, and general departmental upkeep

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (Radiography) certification required
• Clinical competency must be achieved within 3 months of hire and maintained every three years
• Able to perform diagnostic exams relevant to assigned modalities (CT and X-ray required)
• Willingness to take call and report in promptly (~20 minutes when on-call)
• Flexible to learn and work across multiple imaging modalities (XR, MRI, CT, Mammography) as needed
• Strong communication skills and commitment to ethical, patient-centered care

Education

• Current ARRT (Radiography) certification

• Teleradiology transmission competence
