Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic and invasive CT imaging with attention to patient safety and image quality
• Rapidly and accurately triage and image emergency/trauma and stroke patients to support critical care decisions
• Operate and optimize GE CT platforms (Optima, EVO, Revolution) and Medrad injectors for advanced procedures
• Prepare patients, perform venipuncture when required, and ensure proper contrast administration and monitoring
• Collaborate with radiologists, ED staff, and multidisciplinary teams to prioritize urgent studies and communicate findings
• Manage PACS and Cerner RadNet workflows to deliver timely, organized imaging studies
• Maintain documentation, follow protocols, and support quality improvement efforts on the unit

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Demonstrated CT imaging experience including diagnostic and invasive CT procedures
• Proven experience with ED trauma and stroke imaging required
• Comfortable working rotating shifts, weekends, and occasional on-call duties
• Experience with GE CT systems and familiarity with PACS/Cerner RadNet preferred
• Strong patient care skills including venipuncture and pediatric imaging experience is a plus
• Team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment

• Expertise in diagnostic and invasive CT procedures
• Emergency/trauma and stroke imaging workflows
• Cardiac, neuro, MSK, body, and pediatric CT imaging
• Experience with GE Optima, GE EVO, GE Revolution platforms
• Medrad injector operation and contrast administration best practices
• PACS and EMR systems: Philips PACS and Cerner RadNet
• Patient preparation, venipuncture, and safe imaging practices
