Shift Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts (variable start/end times), days off variable; Full-time nights — 72 hours per pay period

Hours per Week: 36

Bill Rate: $44.64-$60.26/hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Operate CT and general radiographic equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging
Prepare patients and equipment for CT exams, including positioning and patient care to ensure comfort and safety
Prepare and administer contrast media and perform intravenous contrast injections per protocol
Adhere to radiation protection and quality assurance standards to maintain a safe environment
Follow department policies, ARRT Standards of Ethics, and Enloe Medical Center core values in all patient interactions
Collaborate with the radiology team and lead technologist to support efficient workflow and excellent patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation, equipment readiness, and supplies for the imaging suite

Qualifications

Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the State of California (required)
Approved CPR certification (required)
ARRT certification and State fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire (required)
Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification (desired)
Advanced CT certification and current ARRT license (desired)
Two years diagnostic x-ray experience and at least one year CT experience (desired)
Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-care skills

Education

Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) from the State of California

Knowledge & Skills

Cross-sectional anatomy and positioning for CT exams
Patient care and patient preparation techniques
CT operation and general radiographic imaging
Contrast media preparation and intravenous injection/venipuncture
Radiation protection principles and radiation physics basics
Quality assurance, equipment readiness, and infection control practices
Ability to follow protocols, solve problems, and work independently
