Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies using GE and Siemens equipment, ensuring image clarity and diagnostic value
• Support the Emergency Department by delivering timely trauma and stroke imaging with fast turnaround
• Document procedures accurately in Meditech and GE Centricity to maintain clear patient records
• Apply patient-centered communication (AIDET) to provide respectful, reassuring care throughout the imaging process
• Collaborate with the radiology team to float to the main department as needed and help maintain smooth operations
• Follow safety and infection control protocols to protect patients and staff during non-invasive CT procedures

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification (required)
• Florida state radiologic technologist license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience
• Prior GE CT experience (must have)
• Trauma and stroke imaging experience preferred
• Terra Recon or reformatting experience on another platform is a plus

Education

• ARRT CT certification

Knowledge & Skills

• CT scanning techniques and protocols
• Trauma and stroke imaging workflows and urgency
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT systems
• Image reformatting and Terra Recon familiarity
• Documentation in Meditech and GE Centricity
• Strong patient communication (AIDET) and customer service focus
• Ability to support ED turnaround time needs efficiently
