Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans using GE and Siemens equipment, following trauma and stroke protocols
• Operate PACS/GE Centricity and Meditech documentation systems for accurate image handling and charting
• Reconstruct and reformat images (TerraRecon or similar platforms) to support diagnostic needs
• Collaborate closely with the ER team to prioritize turnaround times and expedite critical cases
• Provide patient-centered care using AIDET and maintain a friendly, professional bedside manner
• Follow department guidelines and safety protocols, including radiation safety and BLS procedures

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required
• Florida state license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year CT experience (overnight/trauma experience a plus)
• Hands-on GE CT scanner experience is required
• TerraRecon or similar image reformatting experience preferred
• Experience with trauma and stroke cases preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• CT (Computed Tomography) operation and protocols
• GE CT scanner experience
• PACS and GE Centricity image management
• Meditech documentation workflows
• Image reconstruction and reformatting (TerraRecon or similar)
• Trauma and stroke imaging protocols
• Strong patient communication using AIDET
• Ability to work effectively with emergency department staff
