Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility needs
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Accurately document care and observations in the patient record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania
Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting is a plus
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
Willingness to complete facility orientation and mandatory trainings
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and ADLs
Able to take and report vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
Team player with good communication and time-management skills
