Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report observations to nursing staff
Perform safe and accurate documentation of care, following facility policies
Support mobility and transfer needs while using proper body mechanics and equipment
Collaborate with the care team to create a positive, person-centered environment

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain if required by the facility
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility health/immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Comfortable with hands-on resident care and basic clinical tasks

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of resident care and activities of daily living
Basic infection control and safety practices
Accurate documentation and charting skills
Effective teamwork and communication with nursing staff and residents
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
