Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility)
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Support resident comfort and safety, ensuring a clean and orderly environment
Document care in a timely, accurate manner and communicate effectively with the care team
Assist with transfers and safe patient handling following facility protocols
Participate in team huddles and collaborate to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB/health requirements
Comfortable with physical duties and working directly with residents
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus; new CNAs are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic patient care and ADLs
Knowledge of infection control and safety practices
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Reliable time management and ability to follow care plans
