Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
- Accurately take and record vital signs and basic clinical observations
- Assist residents with mobility and safe transfers using proper techniques
- Document care and resident changes in a timely, clear manner
- Communicate resident status and concerns to nursing staff and supervisors
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality care
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed CNA training program and current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Proficient in taking and recording vital signs
- Knowledge of safe transfer and lifting techniques
- Familiarity with infection control and hand hygiene practices
- Basic charting and documentation skills (paper or electronic records)
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a care team
