Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
Accurately take and record vital signs and basic clinical observations
Assist residents with mobility and safe transfers using proper techniques
Document care and resident changes in a timely, clear manner
Communicate resident status and concerns to nursing staff and supervisors
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills
Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Proficient in taking and recording vital signs
Knowledge of safe transfer and lifting techniques
Familiarity with infection control and hand hygiene practices
Basic charting and documentation skills (paper or electronic records)
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a care team
