Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Support patient mobility, transfers, and safe positioning to promote comfort
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Document patient care accurately and timely in facility records
Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Assist with bathing, feeding, grooming, and basic toileting needs respectfully
Contribute to a positive patient experience through effective communication and empathy

Qualifications

Active CNA certification or eligibility to obtain CNA certification in Pennsylvania
Comfortable working 6-hour shifts and flexible scheduling as needed
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset
Ability to perform physical aspects of patient care safely (lifting, turning, bedside care)
Willingness to participate in facility orientation and on-the-job training

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing care procedures and understanding of ADLs
Patient safety, infection control, and hygiene best practices
Clear communication and effective teamwork in fast-paced settings
Accurate documentation and attention to detail
Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with patients and families
