Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients including assistance with activities of daily living
Perform vital signs and basic clinical assessments, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
Assist with safe transfers, positioning and mobility to maintain patient comfort and safety
Maintain accurate documentation of care and patient observations
Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to keep patients and staff safe
Collaborate with the care team to support patient-centered plans and positive outcomes

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (state-specific requirements may apply)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable providing direct patient care and basic clinical tasks
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility

Education

Completion of an approved CNA program or equivalent training
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic patient care, bathing, feeding, and toileting assistance
Skilled at taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control best practices
Ability to document care clearly and follow care plans
Compassionate bedside manner and good interpersonal skills
