Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents and patients, making their comfort a top priority
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Accurately document care delivered and maintain clear communication with the care team
Support safe patient handling and infection control practices at all times
Build positive relationships with patients and families, delivering respectful and dignified care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background/health screenings
Comfortable working within a team and following care plans; previous patient care experience is a plus
Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and comfort measures
Infection control and safe handling techniques
Accurate documentation and charting
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
