Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and positioning while following proper body mechanics
Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate effectively with team members
Help create a positive environment by engaging patients in meaningful interactions

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
Valid CNA certification recognized in California or ability to obtain one quickly
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and providing direct patient care
Friendly, patient-centered attitude with strong communication skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe patient handling
Knowledge of infection control and proper use of PPE
Accurate documentation and charting skills
Strong observational skills to recognize patient changes
Teamwork and effective communication with nurses and care staff
