Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and personal care
Take and record vital signs accurately to support resident health monitoring
Answer resident call lights promptly and respond with compassion and efficiency
Observe and report changes in skin integrity and overall condition to nursing staff
Turn, reposition, and transfer residents safely between bed, chair, and wheelchair
Maintain cleanliness in resident care areas, change linens, and restock supplies as needed
Collect and communicate relevant information about resident conditions and treatment plans to caregivers and nurses

Qualifications

Current California CNA license required
Current CPR certification required
Demonstrated ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, speaking, comprehending)
Able to work under pressure and relate well to residents, families, and long-term care staff

Education

Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
Current CPR certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with vital sign collection and documentation
Skilled in assisting with ADLs (activities of daily living)
Experience with safe patient transfer techniques (bed/chair/wheelchair)
Knowledgeable about skin integrity monitoring and pressure injury prevention
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for resident-centered care

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $1,500.00
Pay scale with 30 increments to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
