Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (exact start/end times and days to be confirmed with facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct resident care, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor residents, report changes in condition, and communicate clearly with the care team
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and fall prevention measures
Maintain accurate documentation and charting of care provided
Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents' comfort and dignity
Collaborate with nurses and other staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Pennsylvania preferred)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Demonstrated experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
Teamwork and effective communication with interdisciplinary staff
Time management and reliable attendance
