Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and toileting with dignity and respect
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and yourself
• Document care activities accurately and timely in resident records
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure each resident’s comfort and safety

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential valid in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or obtained upon hire
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings as required
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
• Reliability for scheduled night shifts and ability to work independently

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with basic nursing care procedures and infection control
• Ability to observe, record and report changes in resident condition
• Basic documentation skills and comfort with facility charting processes
• Teamwork mindset and good interpersonal skills with residents and families
• Time management skills to prioritize resident needs during shift
