Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Support patient mobility and safe transfer techniques to prevent falls
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with nurses and families
Build trusting relationships with residents, offering dignity and respect in every interaction

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by the facility
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, team-oriented attitude
Available to work 8-hour shifts as scheduled

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of a state-approved CNA program; current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Care for activities of daily living, hygiene, and basic patient needs
Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
Infection control practices and proper PPE use
Basic charting and documentation skills
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
