Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (schedule varies), 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, supporting activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with vital signs, patient hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures
Communicate changes in patient condition clearly and promptly to the clinical team
Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols for safety and infection control
Support patient dignity, emotional needs, and engagement during the night shift

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (New Mexico) required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Comfortable working overnight shifts and assisting with personal care tasks
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Previous patient care experience is a plus but new grads of accredited CNA programs are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care techniques and safe transfer/mobility assistance
Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
Accurate vital sign measurement and observation skills
Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks on night shifts
Teamwork mindset and clear communication with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
