Shift Type: Per diem, days vary, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and assist with activities of daily living
Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient positioning
Document care clearly and communicate effectively with nurses and families
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control policies
Support resident dignity and independence while delivering consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
Completion of an approved CNA training program and basic clinical skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous CNA experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings as required by facility

Education

Completion of an accredited CNA training program
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
Safe patient transfer and mobility assistance
Basic infection control and safety procedures
Clear documentation and effective communication
Empathy, patience, and a resident-centered approach
