Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Perform safe transfers, mobility assistance, and maintain resident comfort
• Measure and document vital signs, intake/output, and basic observations accurately
• Support the care team by reporting changes in resident condition promptly
• Help maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
• Engage residents with respect and dignity, fostering a positive, rehabilitative atmosphere

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Class: CNA) — required
• Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM) on a per-diem basis
• Comfortable providing direct resident care in a rehabilitation/long-term care setting
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of ADLs, safe patient handling, and basic resident hygiene
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs and observing clinical changes
• Familiarity with infection prevention and basic safety protocols
• Ability to collaborate with nurses, therapists, and families to support care plans
