Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform fluoroscopic imaging and assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and care
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot cath lab equipment to ensure safe, effective procedures
• Monitor patients continuously, recognizing and responding to changes in condition swiftly
• Apply strict radiation safety practices and sterile technique to protect patients and staff
• Accurately document procedures and patient data in Cerner for clear continuity of care
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and allied staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high standards and competency

Qualifications

• ARRT credential (required)
• BLS Certification (required)
• Fluoroscopy certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab/Cardiac Cath Lab (required)
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system (preferred/required for documentation)
• License to submit (position accepts submitted license)
• Willingness to complete a 12-hour orientation as part of onboarding

Education

• BSN not required (position indicates BSN: No)

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac catheterization procedures and cath lab workflow
• Fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety principles
• Proficient charting and documentation in Cerner
• Equipment setup, calibration, and basic troubleshooting
• Strong patient monitoring and emergency response skills
• Team communication and sterile technique in the procedural environment
