Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and yourself
• Document care accurately and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Help create a positive, dignified environment for every resident

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Prior experience in long-term care or acute care settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Successful completion of a state-approved CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic clinical skills including vital signs, ADL assistance, and patient transfers
• Infection control and proper use of PPE
• Accurate documentation and charting practices
• Compassionate patient interaction and dignity-preserving care
• Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
