Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility support
Monitor resident condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Record and maintain accurate patient care documentation
Support meal service and feeding assistance as needed
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active ability to work in Pennsylvania - state requirements must be met
Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and pre-employment screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and turning residents

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and basic clinical skills
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Familiarity with documentation and charting procedures
Ability to follow care plans and report changes to clinical staff
Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced care setting
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
