Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients as an RN or LPN
Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient condition throughout the shift
Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and follow patient care plans
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up
Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns as needed
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (required)
Active, unrestricted license to practice in Maine (or compact privileges if applicable)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working per-diem shifts and adapting to facility routines
Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or LPN program)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Medication administration and safe documentation practices
Familiarity with infection control and patient safety protocols
Excellent interpersonal skills for patient/family communication
Ability to work with electronic medical records and standard clinical charting
