Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to clinic patients following established standards and scope of practice
Take and document vital signs accurately and efficiently
Triage patient calls and determine appropriate next steps or escalation
Manage prescription refill requests and coordinate prior authorizations
Serve as the primary patient liaison, ensuring clear communication between patients, staff, and providers
Give direction to CNAs and Schedulers to support smooth clinic operations
Collaborate with providers, coordinators, clinical managers/supervisors, and RNs to deliver coordinated care
Support the team by stepping into tasks that keep patient care moving and the clinic humming

Qualifications

Current State LPN license (required)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Comfortable supervising CNAs and working closely with schedulers
Ability to triage, handle prescription refills, and complete prior authorizations
Willingness to meet state/federal continuing education requirements

Education

Graduate of a Nursing Program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

Vital signs measurement and documentation
Patient triage and clinical decision support
Prior authorizations and prescription refill workflow
Patient liaison skills and strong communication
Team collaboration within an interdisciplinary clinic setting
Basic supervisory skills for overseeing CNAs and coordinating with schedulers
