Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per Diem, days vary, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening/PM shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the care team
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and toileting while preserving dignity
Maintain clear, timely documentation of resident care and observations
Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift on a per-diem basis
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a resident-first mindset
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and repositioning
Previous experience in long-term care or acute care is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and standard resident care
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
Ability to follow care plans and report resident changes promptly
Good time management and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
Respectful, empathetic approach to working with older adults
