Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents by assisting with daily living activities
• Support residents with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility while preserving dignity
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and timely in resident charts and handoffs
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families through excellent communication

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Active state CNA certification or ability to obtain prior to start
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and basic patient care
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

• Basic patient care and safety practices
• Vital signs measurement and documentation
• Person-centered care and respect for resident dignity
• Effective verbal and written communication with care teams
• Time management, adaptability, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
