Shift Type: Per diem schedule (varies by need); typical evening shift 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening/PM)

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, toileting, bathing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Support mealtime needs and assist with feeding when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Follow infection control and safety procedures consistently
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with colleagues and families
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania required
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening per facility policy
- Dependable transportation to Gettysburg Center and reliable attendance
- Comfort working in a team-oriented, resident-focused environment
Education
- High school diploma or GED and completion of a state-approved CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with residents and team members
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe patient handling
- Familiarity with infection control practices and resident safety standards
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to prioritize resident dignity
