Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and monitor patient status throughout your shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Perform focused assessments, report changes, and escalate concerns to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education to support positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold infection control and safety standards

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing (LPN) required
• Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or required depending on facility
• Prior LPN clinical experience preferred but new grads with strong training are welcome
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic clinical skills
• Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Charting and documentation (electronic medical records familiarity a plus)
• Infection prevention, safety protocols, and patient hygiene care
• Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
• Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
