Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients as an LPN
- Administer medications and document patient responses accurately
- Assist with daily living activities and promote patient comfort
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans
- Monitor patient status and report changes to the RN or provider promptly
- Maintain clear, timely charting in the electronic health record
- Support a safe environment by following infection control policies
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Comfortable with electronic charting and standard clinical procedures
Education
- Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent (LPN program)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Wound care, vital signs monitoring, and basic clinical assessments
- Familiarity with common nursing equipment and safety protocols
- Effective time management and prioritization on busy shifts
- Team collaboration and clear clinical communication
