Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Provide compassionate bedside care that preserves dignity and comfort
• Take and record vital signs and observe for changes in condition
• Document care accurately and report concerns promptly to the nursing team
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention practices for every patient
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver consistent care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and families

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification for New Hampshire or Vermont as applicable
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, TB testing, and meet facility immunization requirements
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work 12+ hour day shifts as a per diem clinician

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a state-approved LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient safety practices
• Skill in taking vital signs and recognizing common changes in patient condition
• Familiarity with infection control and safe hand hygiene techniques
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and care teams
• Basic charting and documentation skills
