Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Document care, observations, and changes in patient condition clearly and timely
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and the care team to create seamless care plans
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient status promptly
- Support infection control, safety protocols, and a clean healing environment
- Educate patients and families with clear, respectful communication
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing (New Hampshire license preferred)
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Comfort and ability to work a 12+ hour day shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable, professional, and patient-focused attitude
Education
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program; LPN credential required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic assessment skills: vital signs, patient observation, and reporting
- Wound care fundamentals and assistance with activities of daily living
- Comfort with electronic charting and accurate record keeping
- Infection prevention and safety protocols
