Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot mechanical ventilators to optimize patient respiratory status
- Perform and interpret ABGs, then adjust therapy based on clinical data
- Provide HFNC, nebulization, and other respiratory therapies to critically ill patients
- Assist with intubations and bronchoscopy procedures when called upon
- Administer and manage inhaled nitric oxide therapies as needed
- Document care thoroughly in the Meditech EMR and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Float to all hospital areas as needed and support unit staffing and patient throughput
- Act as a collaborative team player, supporting colleagues and contributing to excellent patient outcomes
Qualifications
- CRT or RRT credential required
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience (ICU experience required)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Comfortable with ventilator management, ABGs, HFNC, and nebulized therapies
- Experience with Meditech or similar EMR preferred
- Ability to float to all hospital areas and work rotating weekends
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of ventilator modes and management
- Skilled in arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation
- Experience with HFNC, nebulization, and airway management support
- Familiarity with nitric oxide management and related equipment
- Comfortable assisting with bronchoscopy and intubation procedures
- Proficient documentation skills in Meditech or comparable EMR
- Team-oriented communication and critical thinking under pressure
