Speech Language Pathologist - PRN
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Candidate Pay Rate: $58 - $63 per hour
Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders using evidence-based practices
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote resident function and quality of life
- Collaborate actively with nursing and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure continuity of care and regulatory compliance
- Ensure clinic and treatment practices meet facility and regulatory guidelines to keep patients safe and supported
Qualifications
- Active California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills to support high-quality care
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Experience with individualized treatment planning for SNF residents
- Clear and timely clinical documentation practices
- Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and following facility protocols
- Awareness of regulatory requirements and compliance in long-term care settings
