Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care in an ICU/CCU setting
• Monitor, assess, and manage complex critically ill patients with vigilance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Perform accurate, timely EPIC documentation and electronic charting
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and support trauma center protocols
• Float to Med/Surg units when needed, bringing adaptability and teamwork
• Communicate clearly with patients and families, offering compassion and education

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior travel nurse experience preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC charting and electronic medical records
• Experience in Level II trauma center, ICU and/or CCU required
• Comfort working 12-hour night shifts and able to float to other units

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care assessment and monitoring skills
• Ventilator management and advanced cardiac monitoring
• Telemetry, EKG interpretation, and infusion pump experience
• Strong clinical documentation skills in EPIC
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond in high-acuity situations
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
