Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to long-term care residents with compassion and clinical expertise
• Assess resident conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans, and document care accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident comfort, safety, and quality of life
• Monitor and report changes in resident status promptly to the care team
• Support infection control practices and ensure compliance with required screenings and immunizations
• Participate in competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical proficiency

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact/reciprocal where applicable)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Experience or comfort working in Long-Term Care settings preferred
• Completion of license/certificate verification and facility onboarding requirements
• Ability to complete required health screenings and drug testing prior to assignment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of long-term care nursing standards and resident-centered care
• Skilled in medication administration and documentation
• Familiarity with care planning and interdisciplinary communication
• Comfort with competency testing and facility-specific skills checklists
• Strong infection prevention practices and immunization awareness
• Professional demeanor, good time management, and strong communication skills
