Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered nursing care to Mercy LIFE participants
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform routine assessments and monitor participant condition
- Document clinical care and complete Trinity skills checklists and competency testing
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support participant goals
- Ensure compliance with required health screenings and immunization policies
- Participate in license and certification verification processes
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Successful completion of Trinity specialty specific competency testing and Trinity skills checklist
- Compliance with health screening requirements including TB testing, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 and influenza vaccination, and Trinity 10 panel drug screen
- Ability to pass license and certificate verification
Education
- Graduated from an accredited Practical Nursing program; LPN licensure required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Comfortable with skill validation and competency testing processes
- Clear, compassionate communication with participants and team members
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail for charting and checklists
- Ability to work independently in a per diem pool environment
