Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical dermatology care to adults and children in an outpatient setting
• Perform procedural dermatology tasks such as skin biopsies, excisions, and common office procedures
• Manage a high-volume practice efficiently—typically seeing 4-5 patients per hour with procedures in 3-4 visits
• Document patient encounters thoroughly in EPIC and manage required administrative time
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff to reopen and grow the dermatology practice, including cosmetic service expansion if desired
• Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive skin care
• Participate in quality improvement and uphold system standards for patient safety and care

Qualifications

• Board Certified Dermatologist or Board Eligible (open to truly Board Eligible candidates within 1 year of graduation; must become Board Certified within 3 years of graduation)
• Comfortable with procedural dermatology and high procedure volume (approximately 80% of visits involve procedures)
• Experience with outpatient clinic workflows and EPIC documentation
• Not open to 1099 candidates or Locums; not open to providers with lapsed Board Certification requiring re-obtaining
• Open to H1B visa candidates; J1 visa candidates cannot be accepted
• Willing to work on-site and not commute more than 1 hour; team-oriented mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong expertise in medical and procedural dermatology
• Skilled in performing skin biopsies and common office dermatologic procedures
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records and efficient charting
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume clinic while maintaining excellent patient communication
• Understanding of both medical and cosmetic dermatology (practice is ~90% medical, 10% cosmetic)
