Roles & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions with patient-centered care
- Perform advanced ERCP and other endoscopic procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
- Collaborate closely with a team of gastroenterologists and multidisciplinary colleagues to coordinate care
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation, including weekend coverage, to ensure continuous patient care
- Document clinical encounters and procedures thoroughly using the EPIC EMR
- Contribute to a high-volume practice, delivering efficient, high-quality outcomes for a diverse caseload
- Apply evidence-based medicine to improve patient outcomes and advance clinical practices
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including CME, and support team learning and mentorship
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree and completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for or holds Colorado medical licensure (ability to obtain required state licensure)
- Proven experience with ERCP and advanced endoscopic procedures
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
- BLS/ACLS certification and DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Willingness to participate in shared on-call rotation, including weekends
- UCHealth able to support visa candidates for this position
Education
- MD or DO
- Completion of Gastroenterology fellowship
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Gastroenterology

- Diagnosis and management of a broad range of GI disorders
- Advanced endoscopic skills, including ERCP
- Experience with EPIC EMR documentation and workflows
- Familiarity with advanced endoscopy tools and technology

- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, collaborative practice
- Engagement in CME and ongoing professional development
- Comfort participating in on-call and weekend coverage
