Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
Monitor and document patient status and progress with attention to detail
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures
Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to facility protocols
Contribute to a positive patient experience with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in Maine
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated clinical skills and ability to prioritize in a busy setting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Prior experience in long-term care or similar settings is preferred but not required

Education

LPN diploma, certificate, or equivalent from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medication administration and documentation skills
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Ability to assess, record, and communicate patient condition changes
Familiarity with electronic health records and charting best practices
Comfort working independently while collaborating with a care team
