Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality outpatient X-ray exams with care and precision
• Position patients and equipment safely and efficiently to capture diagnostic images
• Operate radiographic and image-processing equipment while maintaining radiation safety protocols
• Ensure accurate patient identification, exam documentation, and image labeling
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and multidisciplinary care teams
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and report equipment or supply needs promptly

Qualifications

• Active radiologic technologist certification/license as required by state regulations
• ARRT certification or equivalent credentials preferred
• Availability and willingness to work 10-hour shifts and occasional weekends
• Strong patient-service orientation and good communication skills
• Basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree or equivalent preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in radiographic positioning and exposure techniques
• Familiarity with digital radiography/image archiving systems
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
• Ability to handle patient records and documentation accurately
• Comfortable working in an outpatient clinic environment and managing patient flow
