Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient urologic care to adult and geriatric patients across two facilities
• Perform general urology procedures including ureteroscopy and related interventions
• Cover 24-hour on-call responsibilities and participate fully in locum coverage rotations
• Collaborate closely with APCs and the multidisciplinary hospital team to ensure continuity of care
• Communicate effectively with peers and hospital staff to manage inpatient consults and admissions
• Document patient care accurately and hand off transitions of care during shift changes

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in general urology with comfort performing ureteroscopy
• Experience in hospital-based inpatient urology and caring for adult/geriatric populations
• Willingness and ability to provide 24-hour on-call coverage and cover multiple facilities
• Previous locum or temporary coverage experience preferred
• Ability to collaborate with Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) and work within a team of urologists

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical expertise in inpatient urology workflows and acute urologic care
• Proficiency in ureteroscopy and general urologic procedures
• Experience working in a Trauma Level 3 hospital setting
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills for multidisciplinary care
• Comfort navigating hospital systems, labs and imaging (onsite lab and X-ray available)
