Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams using specialized sonography equipment
Collaborate closely with physicians to capture images that support accurate diagnosis and treatment
Prepare patients for procedures, explain exams clearly, and ensure patient comfort and safety
Acquire, label and document diagnostic images in the medical record following facility protocols
Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to infection control and safety standards
Follow ARDMS standards and facility policies to deliver consistent, professional imaging services
Contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate communication and teamwork

Qualifications

ARDMS certification required
Minimum 2 years of sonographer experience (required)
Proven experience with ultrasound/sonography and diagnostic imaging procedures
Comfortable working in an outpatient (OP) clinical setting
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with ultrasound imaging techniques and equipment operation
Solid anatomy and physiology knowledge relevant to diagnostic sonography
Accurate image acquisition, optimization and documentation skills
Patient-centered care skills, including positioning and preparing patients for exams
Familiarity with imaging workflows and electronic medical record documentation
