Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and passing instruments to the surgeon
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
- Set up and operate surgical equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow
- Perform counts of instruments, sponges, and needles before and after surgery
- Manage inventory and restock supplies in the operating room
Qualifications
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of sterile technique and aseptic practices
- Familiarity with surgical instruments and their uses
- Understanding of anatomy and surgical procedures
- Ability to anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
- Competence with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
