Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Self-scheduling, typically 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with on-call requirements (one weekday and one weekend per month)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in complex open-heart and endovascular surgeries with precision
Prepare and maintain a sterile field for a variety of cardiovascular procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Handle surgical instruments and equipment with expertise during high-stakes cases
Float to the general OR as needed to support the surgical team

Qualifications

Active CO DORA certification is required
BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
Experience in open-heart and endovascular surgery is a must
Comfortable working with a range of surgical specialties including neuro, spine, robotics, and ortho

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiovascular and endovascular surgical techniques
Knowledge of sterile technique and OR protocols
Ability to handle multiple case types: hearts, vascular, thoracic, general, neuro, spine, robotics, and ortho
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
