Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms by ensuring sterile setup of instruments, supplies, and equipment
Assist surgeons and the surgical team by anticipating needs during procedures
Maintain strict sterile technique and infection prevention practices
Perform instrument counts and document procedures accurately
Monitor and care for surgical instruments and equipment to ensure readiness
Communicate clearly with the surgical team and support staff to promote patient safety

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent training
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred or working toward certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtain upon hire
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by the facility
Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to perform in a fast-paced OR environment

Education

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in sterile technique and OR instrumentation
Knowledge of surgical procedures and operative workflow
Familiarity with instrument processing and sterile field management
Effective communication and teamwork in perioperative settings
Basic electronic medical record navigation and documentation skills
