Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Days, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in their homes across a multi-county territory
Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, including CVA and aphasia
Develop and implement individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and patient families
Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
Travel to patients' homes within an 11-county area (Elizabethtown and Bardstown offices)

Qualifications

Must have a valid Kentucky Speech-Language Pathologist license in hand at time of submission
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in speech-language pathology
Home health experience required
Current BLS certification
CCC-SLP credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload
Proficient in documentation and electronic medical records
Comfortable with extensive daily travel and a large geographical coverage area
